As global climate change intensifies, the urgency to protect the Earth and its natural environment becomes more pronounced. Under the leadership of General Manager Mr. S.Y. Lee, we are proactively addressing sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Our commitment is evident in tangible actions, such as the recently conducted meaningful beach cleanup activity. Through these initiatives, we aim to raise awareness among everyone about the crucial importance of marine ecology. Preserving the beauty of our oceans necessitates collaborative efforts from all of us.
In April 2024, FIRSTOHM's factory is completed and producing solar green electricity.
At the end of 2023, new EU regulations began requiring that carbon emission data accompany all products sold in Europe. Since its founding in 1969, FIRSTOHM has considered Europe its primary sales region. In alignment with global sustainability trends and in response to energy conservation and emission reduction goals, we have completed the construction of a new factory that now operates using solar green energy. At the same time, we are actively committed to environmental protection and hope to see more factories adopt similar practices in the future—working together to preserve a cleaner, healthier planet.
