A zero-ohm metal film resistor is often called jumper resistor, these resistors are designed to link to circuits together just like any other wire. Zero-ohm metal film (ZOM204) resistor create options with a lot less space and cost. These lead enabled jumper resistors designed for applications that require power handling with resistance < 10mΩ (ZOM204, maximum current 3A) at operating temperature range -55°C~+155°C. These new metal resistors are distinctively suited as true zero-ohm resistors. Available on tape for compatibility with most of assembly systems.

Zero Ohm Metal Film MELF Resistor (ZMM) is useful as configuration jumpers. In fact, it’s not a real zero-ohm resistor, but a lower resistance than 20m ohm to sustain maximum current from 2A to 4A with MELF 0204 or MELF 0207 packages. The zero-ohm resistors can be safely utilized to pass high current.
