Enhanced Film Power MELF Resistor (EFP), 3W 3.3ohm 5%, features an SMD-enabled structure with superior anti-surge capability, and offers much better power dissipation than chip resistors. In general usage, a chip resistor operates at around 20% to 30% of its rated power, while a MELF resistor operates at around 50% of its rated power. Therefore, the power density of a MELF resistor is approximately 2 times that of a chip resistor.

The Surge Resistant MELF Resistor features a power rating from 0.25W to 3W, with a resistance range from 0.1Ω to 2.2MΩ.
